When the world is shaking by the 2009 H1N1 Influenza

When countries around the world has faced the worst time in recovering their economic crisis, people, nowadays, also have the most depress time when this world has to aware the new hazardous flu called 2009-H1N1 Influenza.

It is surprised people when there is the new influenza that makes people around the world feeling panic. According to WHO, World Health Organization, officials raised the alert level for A/H1N1 to phase 5, one step short of a full pandemic, as the disease continued to spread around the globe. People seem to be more terrified and it is like all over the world stop the connection to each other.

Indeed, it is such a big impact on the trade not only between country but also the people who are living in those areas because nobody wants to get this flu.

In Mexico, the government has lunched the special policies to prevent this new influenza. This includes the cooperation between government, non-government, people who lives in Mexico and also the tourists as well.

The policy announces that the organization which is non essential to work should close for 5 days. So, the schools, universities, and some market has closed to prevent the spread of 2009 H1N1 influenza which makes the economic in Mexico stop running.

However, many people still don’t know what exactly the flu that they have to face because some of them are very frightens so, I will give you the whole picture that, perhaps make you understand about the 2009 H1N1 influenza.

According to the World Organization for Animal Health reported that the beginning of this new strain are unknown, and this strain has not been inaccessible in pig. It exceeds with obvious easiness from human to human. The World Health Organization has stated that symptoms may even be less harsh than seasonal influenza symptoms.

Moreover, to prevent it is like the normal influenza. Normally, Influenza spreads between humans through sneezing, coughing and people touching something with the virus on it and then touching their own nose or mouth or other organ that might be infected. Yet this flu cannot be spread by pork products, seeing as the virus is not transmitted through food.

Even some experts from United States announced that this situation could be controlled. But people are still getting more nervous about it and it makes people more stress and feeling sadden. My friend who plans to go to travel in Europe after final examination has to stop to going there because this situation is uncontrollable.

“I feel terrible when I can’t go there because my parents are too afraid of it. I think because of there is no way to cure it and I think if we can not find the way to stop the spreading of it, I think I may not go anywhere else but staying home” said Sucha Nuntaworanuch the BJM student at Thammasat University.

Furthermore, Hong Kong, which is the first Asia country, founded that people infected with the 2009 H1N1 influenza. It is like all Asian are getting more scared when people realize that this is coming to Asia right now. And it is going to be the serious situation because people in Asia used to face the worst experience in SARS, besides, There are more people in Asia countries than Europe and if this influenza can not be cure, there will be million of people will suffered from it. I think it is bad when people feel like there is nowhere in the world that is safe even their own home.

“I am afraid that we may not go to anywhere because it may like Mexican people in China that they have been isolated from others and if there is people in Thailand who are infected with this influenza, all people around the world will not welcome us and may treated us with no respect and if the vaccine won’t finish in the next 6 months, I don’t know what will happen when everyone in the world still panic with the virus that could not be cure” said Sucha.
